Join us on this exciting week-long journey, as we travel to Henasku, a 500 year old village in Ladakh and participate in a heritage documentation & cultural recording project! Henasku is a beautiful remote village, largely untouched and with a population of less than 400 people. Over the years, many homes now stand unoccupied and a lot of their old customs and folklore are at the risk of dying away. Our objective is to understand the village and its people, capture all their stories, oral traditions, family trees, recipes, take photographs and videos and see if we can create something beautiful for the community. This is the second phase of our project, in continuation to our first trip in May 2017.
