Arka, a handcrafted bamboo cabin, was inspired by the universal concepts of Sacred Geometry, the geometry of forms inherent in nature. The idea has been to create a space out of harmonious proportions, finely in balance with the tropical surroundings that the home inhabits. The cottage is intriguing and inviting, a blend of modern ideas and some age old wisdom. Arka offers a one of a kind experience - both in terms of the house and also the stunning setting it is placed in. The wood/bamboo house has been painstaking hand crafted, mostly from natural materials from the estate. Special attention has been given to lighting and use of symbols to reflect the home's universal character. Expect simple but delicious home-style food, traditional South Indian and Coorgi food is mostly prepared. Flavorful Coorg coffee can be had through the day :)
